Meet Christina Wojnarwsky, a 2nd year PA student, who is currently finishing her studies at Shenandoah University. Christina is a 2018-19 LBGT PA Caucus Student Leader Fellow. Christina shared her experience of attending the 2018 AAPA Conference as part of the Caucus Student Leader Fellowship:
"My experience at conference far exceeded my expectations. I can’t even begin to describe how good it feels to have found “my tribe.”... The fellowship allowed me an opportunity to finally let my voice be heard...
My goal when applying to this fellowship was to make the connections I needed to keep my momentum going with my passion for LGBT health equity and finding ways to get involved, and I think I more than met that goal....
Being around so many other PAs and PA students who are passionate about LGBT health equity is so empowering...."
